R G Bennett & Co was first registered as a company name by Reginald George Bennett on the 3rd day of December 1945 and became R G Bennett & Co Ltd 6 years later on the 10th December 1951. After Reg's death the Company was purchased by Mr. Brian Clark on behalf of the current owners in 1963. At this time Bennett’s imported around a dozen lines from Australia including the ever-popular Krisk Bean Slicer. By 1971 Bennett’s were exhibiting at various regional trade shows including the Blackpool Gift Show (the forerunner of Spring Fair, Birmingham).
The BENNETT’S brand was established in 1972 with the introduction of cake decorating and icing equipment... and the introduction later that year of 'own brand' bakeware. Brian Clark successfully ran the business until 2002 when he retired and handed control over to his son Robin.
Founded as a family business, Bennett’s remain a family business combining first class service with quality products.
